Meet & greet at the airport and private transfer to your hotel situated close to the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town. The waterfront is a hub of retail outlets, excellent restaurants, craft markets & also includes highlights such as Two Oceans Aquarium, Robben Island Ferries, ocean adventures like whale-watching & much more. Free time at leisure.
DAY 2 CAPE TOWN - CITY & TABLE MOUNTAIN ½ DAY TOUR (B)
Your private tour will take in the Houses of Parliament, the Castle, the lively Greenmarket Square, the Company's Garden & Table Mountain, where you can enjoy spectacular views over the city and Peninsula. Return to your hotel & rest of the day at leisure.
DAY 3 CAPE TOWN - CAPE POINT & PENINSULA TOUR (B)
Enjoy a full day tour of Cape Peninsula with the beaches of Clifton & Camps Bays before crossing to Hout Bay where you can take an optional boat cruise to Seal Island. After, drive to Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve via Chapman’s Peak - one of the world’s most breathtaking coastal drives. Optional funicular to the top of the peninsula, to see the symbolic meeting of the Indian & Atlantic Oceans. Visit Simon's Town, the Naval Base, the African penguin breeding colony at Boulders Beach, & the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden. Return to your hotel.
DAY 4 CAPE TOWN - PRIVATE WINELANDS TOUR (B)
Full day tour to the heart of Cape Winelands through superb mountain ranges, vineyards & Cape Dutch homesteads. Wine tasting at various vineyards along the way. Onward to a wine estate in Paarl, one of the Cape’s first farming districts set at the foot of the cluster of remarkable granite domes from which it takes its name. Return to your hotel.
DAY 5 4 DAY ESCORTED GARDEN ROUTE TOUR (B+D)
Depart Cape Town & travel along Route 62 to Oudtshoorn to visit a working ostrich farm. Check in and dinner at your hotel.
DAY 6 GARDEN ROUTE (B+D)
Morning tour of the Cango Caves. Visit the lagoon side town of Knysna - the gem of the Garden Route - as well as the crags near Plettenberg Bay. Cruise up Keurbooms River. Check-in & dinner at your lodge.
DAY 7 GARDEN ROUTE (B+D)
Visit an elephant sanctuary with the opportunity to touch, feed & photograph these gentle giants. Afterwards visit Birds of Eden - the largest free flight bird aviary in the world. Optional whale & dolphin-watching boat excursion. Return to the lodge.
DAY 8 GARDEN ROUTE - PORT ELIZABETH (B)
Final leg of the Garden Route to Tsitsikamma National Park & enjoy a walk along the suspension bridge, across the Storms River mouth gorge. Check into your hotel in Port Elizabeth.
DAY 9-12 PORT ELIZABETH - SAFARI LODGE (B+L+D or All Inclusive Basis)
Day 9 - Transfer to an Eastern Cape Safari Lodge OR the airport for your flight to Kruger. Check-in at your safari lodge.
Day 9 /12 - Relax at the safari lodge & enjoy 2 game drives daily (subject to check-in/out times) & get the chance to view the big 5 - lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards & rhinos.
Day 12 - Transfer to the airport for your afternoon flight to Johannesburg. Check into your airport hotel.
DAY 13 JOHANNESBURG - AIRPORT (B)
Catch your fight back home or onward to Mauritius.
